There's already several good tab sites, powertabs.net being the best. What makes his special?

If you have good acoustic guitar tabs, favorites and whatnot, perhaps submit a few.

LMK if you have any feedback too and I'll point him to this thread.

Just today, I was thinking I need to find some TAB sites. Thank You.

EDIT: I just started Guitar Lessons six weeks ago.

The tabs are handpicked, and each is reviewed before it is accepted. EVERY tab on there sounds GOOD and is fun to play on an acoustic. Other sites have lots of sh*tty tabs, and incomplete, or duplicates.

he might need to change the font...or some of the tabs won't line up.

did you have some problems?

here's one:
example

he needs to use courier i believe....the tabs don't line up properly

what browser are you using?

shows up fine for me

That post was made 2 days ago, maybe it's been fixed by then (because that sure is using Courier as the font now)

nice one but I never play with tabs. I always listen to the music and play it from there. Its much quicker and easier for me that way.

It seems that Safari & IE don't like to use the same code. It displays on my Mac IE and Safari. LMK if there are any more problems!

yanagi: I wish I had the ear you did :)

Its a heritage from my father. He's extremely good with it. I wish my kids will enjoy music as much as I do. It literally saved my life a few years back. I have recorded a few tracks. Nothing really good but someday i might throw up a website with the tracks and see if people anjoy them. Would be nice to hear other people point of view aswell. Look out for a topic soon. I'll upload a few covers a made a couple of years ago and make a topic for them. :)

Ditto that Yanagi. My father plays jazz guitar although his roots are rock. I can pretty much pick up anything by ear and often just by hearing it only once unless it's awfully complex..even then I can get the jist of it. With a good knowledge of music theory, technique and a good ear for melodies, harmonies and of course rhythm, it's MUCH easier and quicker to pick up a piece than relying on tabs.
