OT: Gateway mobo....

I know that this probably doesn't belong here but it does pertain because if I get the answer that I hope I get then I will be buying a CPU from compuwiz so bear with me mods for just a little bit.

I am wanting to know if a Gateway Socket 370 mobo (Gateway part # 4000655) will handle a coppermine 700E? If you know or can find out please let me know either by posting here or e-mail.

from what machine did that mobo come out of? Also, any other markings on the mobo?

That Part # doesnt match anything in my Tech Database...if you PM me the serial# from your system I can look it up and tell what MB you have and what it can take.

The mobo came to me from a friend of a friend kinda deal. The only other markings on the board is a sticker in the middle that says:

IUW203009042 AA A27218-204
