If it's that bad, just get a merchant account.

PPD, you guys should call up Dateline/48hours/etc and try and get them to do a special on these scams. There are SO many of them and the scam artists are just getting more clever (and that new security bug in IE where you can fake the address will get even more people). Word would get out a little better with some national TV exposure and help to slow down this sort of thing.
