Good luck with it David 🙂

Thanks, I did one a few months back where Federal and State Officials came in and stopped a couple of Georgia Tech College students from talking about the flaws in a system used in the schools for buying books and similar items called Blackboard. The Company invoked the DMCA while the Government Officials did not but still enforced the Cease and Desist under Georgia's Computer Law, the same Law that they charged me under.

Donna will be with me this time too.

Donna and I just got back from Dragon*Con.

It went well, there was one guy there though we feel may have been there for either the School or State or both and he had a what was possibly a GBI Agent that came in briefly lean over and whisper in his ear and I saw his gun and handcuffs because his vest that was covering them shifted when he leaned over.

He videotaped the whole thing and asked some strange questions. One thing he said was he heard (we've heard them claim this once before) that the Attorney General offered some sort of a plea and they only wanted an amount to what it cost for removal of the software. I replied back that my Attorney said there was no such offer, that when he came back from that meeting they only showed the 59 cents a second to him and wanted $415,000. It certainly doesn't cost that much to hit the delete key and everyone chuckled.

This guy that said he was a System Admin also said that Distributed Computing is a danger to all netowrks as it opens the Network to attacks. I replied, does anyone in the room know of any attacks that have occured because of Distributed Computing?

Edit: We got to see Bill Mumy and Angela Cartwright (Will & Penny Robinson) before the panel and got their pictures with autographs. Also got the pic & autograph of the English lady that played Delan with Bill Mumy in Babylon 5.
