Confused is confused about the "lucky *******" part; it's more like "spoiled *******." :p

<-- is happy with his Philips 109B2, which is all he could afford when he got it; he still can't afford an LCD, but he hopes to get another 19 or 17 inch CRT to go along with it sometime soon. :D

Hmm, the Viewsonic P95F+ looks good, but I hear that lots of people think the text quality is less than ideal (bad for me since I do lots of programming and word processing). Maybe I should just wait and get an LCD three years from now when I can finally afford something larger than a 15 inch non-DVI one. :(

I love the resolution on this thing! It's great. The DVI is nice for a change too! I have a KDS 15" but no DVI :(

Glad to hear you're happy with it. :)

Happy kitten kil... er... surfing and SETI crunching (well, what does the monitor have to do with that anyway? oh well, I like to pretend) with your new display. :p

I have a 17" Dell LCD at work, and it is pretty easy on the eyes. It has DVI but my Dell box only has analog out.
Do you really see a difference using DVI to DVI?

I ask because my Radeon card at home has DVI, but I'm using an old NEC 15" crt monitor.
Some of the "deals" on cheap LCDs don't have DVI, so I'm wondering how much of a benefit it would be.

comments? anyone? would I notice much difference?

Eh, I didn't leave it plugged in on analog very long, only long enough to set it to use DVI. I think it looks better, but I didn't do much comparison. I have an analog only upstairs, and this one is better, but it could be the fact that it's a better LCD rather than the fact that it's DVI.

Anyone else ?

I just got my 21 inch from Hot Deals for $200 shipped. It's not an lcd, but I can't complain. :)
