OT: Crack-rack down DPAD

Before going away on a business trip, I made sure I had plenty of WU's queued up and machines were in good working order. On my return, I did a flush and transmitted 5 days worth of DPAD. The DPAD machine did well, but now it freezes whenever I start the DPAD - muon_background.exe. It worked fine before. So I load up and run SETI CLI and it does the same thing. It will work fine at 100% CPU for about 2 minutes then freeze. Temps are 39 to 40 Celsius at idle, but I can't check under load because it crashes. The board is not mounted in a case, cooling and airflow are excellent. I can use the computer fine (downloaded Win2K SP4 and installed, etc.) Any ideas? Heatsink with AS3 is more than adequate for a Duron 1.4 on a Via KT400 mobo (Shuttle AK37)
