Woah, Just looked over there. The K7S5A is $29 along with 10 other sweet mainboards! Epox boards, Iwill, ect.

Even board with onboard Raid ( Epox ) for $29! Tons of other stuff too. pc 3200 DDR cheap. Hard drives, cd-roms, ect.

Go buy!

No CPU's though. Or AMD ones anyway.

Just got myself another 8K7A+. Will use that and my 1600XP to build a linux rig! Thanks for the headsup! Should get me another 6 WU's a day!
Anyone know of a wireless NIC that works well with RebHat 8.0?

Ok, which board for a cruncher?
ECS or something else?

EDIT: Need a board that takes SDRAM, can't buy more ram right now, and have some extra PC133.

Ordered an ECS. This hobby has become expensive! I've been waiting for a good refurb sale. :D:D:D

Now I can put my 1ghz Tbird back in a board and get it crunching again :)

Thanks Evadman :)

Ohh, how I wish I wasn't a broke college student... That is so tempting (like I need another computer though, sheesh... how many other 18 year olds do you know with 4 computers in their room and another 4 downstairs?)

The DFI AK76 is a decent overclocker. Has my 1gig AXIA at 1370. Uses DIP switches for multiplier and voltage. Hybrid chipset. Will do XP`s

<----- Broke collge student
<----- 4 computers in dorm room. (Cheap electricity.)
<----- 2 computers at home.
<----- Slowest computer is a Celeron 800 with 256MB Ram. (If you go and count P1s and 486s then that number would grow.)

I sure wish I had the money for another crunching board. But I am ordering 150 dollars in books.

HAHA! I'm probly bringing 2 computers to college next year (transferring as a JR).
My slowest rig is a Duron 600@ 979 w/ 384 megs of PC133, well, I guess I have that P133, but it's going to be gone soon, to make way for the ECS I just ordered.

I am getting my moneys worth out of electricity. Here is what is running right now.

4 computers. Smallest PSU is 250 watt. Largers is 400.
4 monitors. (1 17" LCD, 1 17" flat CRT, 1 16" CRT, and my favorite of all a 13" monicrome monitor. Its orange and black. :)
1 26" T.V.
1 Dreamcast. (Running becasuase I am in the middle of a race in Test Drive Le Mans. Been up for a good 3 weeks. )
1 Frig
1 Window airconditioner. The largers we could get. :p
Some times 1 microwave.
3 clocks.

Other things not running right now but at some point will be. :p
1 Gamecube
1 Pioneer 5 disk DVD player.
2 Logitech z560s

Oh yeah and once I get my new PSUs I will have another computer up and running. And I should have my switch by then. :)

And I have all of this on two wall plates. Thats all that is in my room! So I only have a total of 4 outlets! Can you imagine the cabling mess?

And at some point I am going to go and take a look at the breaker. (Got to get the RA to unlock it for me) I wanna see what the size of the breaker is. And if its only to my room. :p

EPoX and ECS both tend to put the accessories back in the box. I like them :)

I love NewEgg. Got my board today. Epox 8K7A+, all the stuff was in the box...sealed! Not bad for $32! WIll be putting this board in my daugters system to make use of the raid. And use her 8K7A for my linux box with a 1600XP! WIll unlock and clock the poop out of it. It will be in my garage which is VERY cold at the moment so that will help squeeze out a few WU's!
