OT: BTC or Optorite?

I went to Staples and bought a 8x I/O Magic and it turned out to be a BTC. Should I keep this drive?
Should I go back and buy another one?(Optorite) Whatever the advantages and disadvantages of the two?

BTC plans to release a Bit Setting software for the drive in order to achieve better compatibility for the DVD+R/+RW format.

I' with bustabust on this one.
I got the BTC and want to know if the optorite would be better?

I know that optorite made the sony 510a, a good DVD. But what about the BTC?
