Hey Gang,

I'm a newbie here so please don't flame me for this post. Just wondering if anyone knew of any deals going on for new Washers & Dryers. Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you knew it was OT, why did you put it here?

I can't imagine you would be looking for a washer and dryer online. Any good deals, would be offset by shipping. Your best bet will probably be local want ads or stores.

Maverick, try Best Buy-- they have a low price guarantee and free delivery. Most other places charge at least 50 bucks to deliver. Circuit City used to have great deals on appliances, but now they've phased them all out, I believe. Still, you might check the stores in your area to see if they have any good leftovers...

As has been stated:

Sears scratch&dent (see if they have an outlet center nearby). I got a washer for my folks a few years ago; one unit had a dent in the side, another had a scratched lid. Sales dude put the good lid on the good body, and gave me a first quality machine for the clearance price. They wanna move product.

BestBuy open box. Not sure if delivery is included on open box items, but again, you can talk price on this stuff, especially in white-wares.

In the Norhteast, the (sob) Lechmere clearance centers were the best, but alas, are gone now. DASM YOU Mongomery Ward!!!! Buy a great chain and just drive it into the ground....
