I heard about that a while back..

Pretty silly claim they made to sue, the guy sat in front of his system every day, all day and didn't have a job etc.. and she claimed money compensation for loss of income by her son and stuff..

Not sure if she won or not, surely they'd chuck it out because it's no fault but his own.. pity the legal system didn't work quite like that though 🙁

I can't help it, but I find that article somewhat funny. I have a sick mind don't I ? :Q 😉

Probably because I used to play games for 12 and 24 hours long, but
you got to take a break once in a while! Good grief!!

Please.... No game is above food and ladies. Except this one time, when I played The Sims for the first time, I was so hooked that I didn't get up off the chair for 9 hours. With a few breaks in between to go to the bathroom. I didn't want to tear myself away from the desk, so I ate a box of Cocoa Puffs for late lunch and dinner..... I have a much nicer set-up to play games now, and all I do when I come home is check my damn hotmail(and occasional Madden 2003 😉)....

That is insane. I don't think I could play a game for 86 hours straight.

When I first got Warcraft 2 back in the day I would play it from 3:45 when I got home from school until bedtime. But I would take breaks. I can't imagine playing for 86 hours in a row :Q

Yeah I've done a similar thing with WC2 (though from after work) ,I still love that game 🙂

I have done some 24-36 hr stints at lanparty's but there were 20 minute breaks so everyone could scarf pizza and Mountain Dew.

I usually took a 1 hr power nap or 2, so I guess it wasn't 100% straight, but it was close 🙂

Hehe, when I was living in halls at university we used to play Counter-Strike loads (when CS was still good - ie. version numbers between Beta 4 and 6.5). A few of the servers we played on (all run by students) kept stats. After summer exams, while we were waiting for results one guy managed to average 18 hours of play per day within a one week period :Q
