Words will come later, shock is the only response I can think of now.

Right now I am more concerned with finding out if I belong in that families category. I have family in New York and haven't heard anything.

fatalbert, call your local Red Cross chapter and they will send a NY volunteer to check on your family.

Hereby I send you my deepest condolences for what happened today in your country.

There are no words to describe this inhuman act of terror but I hope that all the survivors and the victims families and the entire nation can somehow find the strength to mentally and phisicly survive this tragedy.

I don't know what else to say but this,

God bless you,

male and female,
black and white,
catholic and protestant,
young and old....

God bless all Americans

With deepest sympathy,

DeJa Vu!

A SETI@Netherlands member here.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to all people with family and friends in the concerning areas.
I wish you all the strength to deal with this.

Also I would like to say, it was hart warming to see Colin Powell's speech, that's the true democratic spirit.

My thoughts are with you.

The worst part of it, the only solution we have is one where we are damned if we do, damned if we don't(referring to counter-actions)

After seeing the first tower go down, and the people jumping out, I completely felt numb, as did everyone. Our whole day was spent watching the news, no one did anything. Every big building in cleveland is closed, they had a plane land to check it for bombs at the airport. Ugh, this really sucks.

May all the families, friends, co-workers, buddies, etc who lost their lifes Rest In Peace. You lost your life because it was simply your time to go. I pray for your family and friends who have lost you and hope you will find your way...

For those who have lost a loved one, i morn your loss, and i think a little of every United State citizen does. So you have 1 billion people morning for your loved one, and any other who were lost.

:( It is terrible that someone would even think of doing something that would cost that many innocent lives :(
