I know there have been a couple of people who posted pictures of their "Seti rack" in the past. I just wanted to show off mine!

After getting tired of the clutter and wires all over the place, I decided to clean up my office area and build a rack for myself.

I got the shelf unit at Home Depot. It comes in black or chrome and only cost $40! The shelves are adjustable and can hold up to 350 lbs each. It is a sweet rack for the money. I bought some flexible tubing and tie wrapped it to the back to hide some of the power cables. I think I need more tubing to hide the rest of the wires. :(

I liked this shelving unit so much, I bought another one for my basement herd. :)

Anyway, if anyone is interested, here are the results of my labor. The herd was down for a couple of hours last weekend and I was able to put the finishing touches on the setup this morning. I think it looks pretty sharp! Don't you agree? Check out the picture links below:

That's the same stuff i've got, apart from i've got it in chrome :)

If i had a digital camera, i'd take a pic of my setup, and also of my case mods i've been doing this week :)

That shelving is nice, and easy to put together! Just need to get something to tidy up all the cables now, but seeing as how much i move my computer around, and take it to mate's houses, it won't be worth it!

Nice... How much does shelving like that cost? (not that it would fit in my room, but... maybe for college :))

Okay, somehow I completely skipped over the part where you mentioned the price... I seem to be even dumber today than I normall am. ;)

Much cleaner than my setup right now. I need to add another shelf and setup some add'l PCs on that that are scatter thruout the house (and on loan to a buddy).

Looking good!

P.S. Hockey spoiler below...(don't read if you haven't seen the game and don't know the winner and don't wanna know the winner yet)

Cool setup!

And if you are in need of some extra WU's to beat Eltano1, I will sell mine for 25 cents each :)

Nice setup. That leads me to a question: For those who are running multiple PC's, do you have a separate monitor for each one, or is there some kind of A/B switch available to select which PC's video output is sent to your monitor?

I have a 2-port KVM switch that links my keyboard/mouse/monitor to my main rig and my server. I then use VNC to connect to all the other PCs in my herd. It works nice and clean. It's just a challenge to keep all those IP addresses in order!

Thanks for all the kind words about my setup. I put alot of time and effort into that!
