It's so cold all of the windows on the house have frost so thick you can't see outside! :Q

Sure glad I plugged my car in last night! :D

With weather like this who needs A/C for running their crack racks! Just pipe the air in from outside. :D

Hey BGod,

You hanging in there too?? It's got to be down there where you at.

I'm going to see if I can get a pic of a gas line we have coming into the house. This thing is hooked right to the heating stove that's at least 300-450 degrees and it has the biggest chunk of frost I have ever seen. (It's only a foot away from the stove!)

Now that's cold!!

Got to run!!

Makes the 4 degrees (wind chill of -10) we have here sound quite balmy. ;)

-26 F on Wednesday without the windchill. I haven't heard what it is yet today, but does feel a little better. I look at it this way, if it's too cold for you, move south! :p

All the windows in my house have been frosted over for the last week and a half. I had to turn the April Air humidifier way up because my dogs hair would stand on end after you'd pet him.

I couldn't agree with you more! :D

I just laugh when it gets this cold because it's so unbelieveable! I just might have to get my humidifier out soon; lotion just isn't working anymore. :(

Then you watch those reporters on CNN or whatever world news cast and they talk about how many other states have 5 degrees or maybe right at zero; Cancelling school etc..
Heck, if it's zero everyone is happier then he|| around here.

****

Anyone ever take a glass of water and throw it up in the air at these temperatures? It freezes before it hits the ground!

Now that's cool! (No pun intended.)

Just put a couple of dual Athlon XP rigs outside, 10 minutes later people would be wearing their swimsuits...

So I guess the "cold" (going down into the mid 20's) weather we have coming overnight here in west central Florida isn't anything to brag about? ;) It might not be as frigid as the temps up north but I can tell you the farmers around here aren't going to like it. :(

Stay warm guys! :)

LMAO. :)

My little outdoor digital thermometer here in southern Indiana is showing 4.7°F right now, and with the wind the wind chill must be down around -12°F or so. <insert blue shivering un-smiley>

The thermometer at work this morning read about -12F & at 2:00 it was up to +8F. The weather forcasted -15 to -20F wind chill throught the day & watching the news when i got home that's about what it was. And we got a couple more inches of snow too.

I see Erie (PA) is in the running this year for most snowfall in large cities in the NE, 2" less the Syracuse NY. Kinda unusual, as Erie is right on the lake & the inland areas usually get hammered with the large amount of "lake effect" snow.

Well the wind chill is putting us somewhere around -20 and we have gotten around 6-8 inches of snow in the last 24 hours. Oh yeah and I have to work outside.:disgust:

Haha, nice one. It is my opinion that a Cyrix or two at 233MHz would make a much better room warmer. Those things were unstable as heck, and they just downright sucked, but they did make good replacements for central heating systems. ;)

We had the perfect type/amount of snow for some really fast sleding. But there is no hill close enough to sled one. :(

heh... I just can't imagine... I'm in So. California, and it was a nice 70F today... I've had the doors open all day to keep the apartment cool.

My brother (Christof) and mom on the other hand, in north central Arkansas are looking at hitting 0 tonight. He mentioned having a potential frozen cold water pipe....

I just can't imagine... I feel for all of you.

Stay warm everyone... huddle near the 'puters.....

Ya, everyone come here to So. Cal. It maybe gets down to the low-40s at night.

Wait, nevermind, it's already too crowed. GO AWAY! MOVE TO UTAH!:p

Edit: No offense to anyone who lives in Utah or has any affiliation with Utah, etc.
