OSX skinners/themers...what docking program are you using?

I'm using ObjectDock right now, because I couldn't figure out how to get Y'Zdock to do what I wanted it to, and I'm at work so I can't spend a ton of time on it. What programs do y'all use? I'm trying to figure out what the best is...

I'm skinning to have my duallie setup look somewhat like OSX, of course. 😉 Why? Cuz I'm bored.

Wow that desktop looks a lot like mine.

To answer the question, I use YzDock. I agree it was difficult to get working at first. What exactly are you trying to do with it? I figured out how to add the control panel, and show desktop commands on the dock, but I'm still trying to get My Documents, My Computer and Network Places.

If I may ask, how did you get the trash can off of the desktop?
 
OS X does not have a taskbar at the bottom of the screen. It DOES have a menubar at the top of the screen. the maximize/minimize/close buttons are on the left. The dock has a light colored rectangle behind it. minimized windows are represented on the right side of the dock.

You're really not even close.

that's gotta be the WORST skin for a media player i've ever seen
 
heh yea😛 i use the osx winamp skin🙂 well atleast it doesn't waste space i guess. u might be able to get rid of trash bin using powertoys tweakui?

i didn't use a doc, they don't seem to really match the osx one yet.

I'm not trying to look exactly like OSX. There are things I like and things I don't about it; I use it at the labs here fairly regularly. I'm more interested in what programs people are using to adapt some of the tendencies (like the docking bar, for example) to WinXP.

The latest Yz' Dock (0.6), most functional for my use. Also, I think Y'z Dock's magnification is better than ObjectDock.

P.S. Thanks a million to jonMEGA for a wonderful site (haven't been there for a while though).
 
i dont like the dockbar in osx as much as the quicklauch (or in my case truelaunch bar). though i hate macs and think they are quite inferior to pc's...their visual themes and icons sets are really nice. they're a great site that shows u how to even fully convert the XP environment to an OSX-like gui...check it out here
