OSX games

I am getting the wife the Macbook Air in a couple of weeks for her trip. We are newbs when it comes to Mac. Does OSX have any little built in games to play? She will be on a 7+hr plane ride and traveling in a bus alot. I was thinking of getting some small games to play to help pass the time. Any suggestions?

There are quite a few games that will run well on the MBAir. I love PopCap games ( http://www.popcap.com ). You can play them for free online, so give them a shot, and if she likes them then you can buy a few.

Also Freeverse ( http://www.freeverse.com/ ) and Ambrosia ( http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/games/ ) have great games as well..

You should know that the Macbook Air will not survive (in terms of battery life) on that 7+ hour plane ride.

That's a very good point. You might want to grab an Airline Adapter, if the flight will have that available.

OS X does not have many built in games. Chess and that tile moving game is all I can think of. A really small and fun game is call Enigmo:
