I have an OSX workstation at work that has about half of the icons for the system prefences greyed out.
It's not that the items are locked, it's that they aren't even clickable!
Even from the view menu, they are greyed out and non-clickable.
Yes, I have admin access.
Google gave no results. Last major change I can recall is the last security update.
Any suggestions on how to fix this without reinstalling?
