Jamie Foxx nominated for two acting Academy Awards. If I recall correctly, the last few time that happened without the nominee winning either was the late 80s when Sigourney Weaver lost both.
Martin Scorsese STILL has not won an Oscar. He's long overdue, and it looks like The Aviator will be his calling.
Clint Eastwood got nominated for Best Director and Best Actor on the same movie, a feat he also achieved for Unforgiven. Has anybody else done this?
Is this the first time two African American actors were nominated for Best Actor?
