Osama bin Laden Bounty Account through PayPal/Billpoint/Ecount?

I know a lot of us are looking for some way to help, & I have a suggestion, I've emailed PayPay & attempted to contact them by phone (got ahold of an unsympathetic CSR).

How do you all feel about establishing a PayPal/Billpoint/Ecount account to supplement the bounty on Osama bin Laden?

Individually, we could kick in a few $, and I think the response could be amazing.

Anyone have contacts @ PayPal/Billpoint/Ecount , PM me, or call PayPal/Billpoint/Ecount & lets get something set up, we'll use the world's most powerful economy to fight back:| If each AT member kicks in $1, we've got nearly another million to add to the bounty, I'll kick in $100.

If the bounty isn't collected in 6months-1year, the funds could go towards relief efforts or some other worthy cause.

This is war, a war with a faceless enemy with no official homeland, I think the allmighty dollar has a chance where traditional methods have little chance of success.

I know this post will offend someone, and the mods may not appreciate political activism on the boards, but I figure it's worth a shot.

Thats a good idea and I could easily see the number hitting in the 10s of millions of everyone in the US was made aware of it.

There is an award but only $5 million.

If people here and at places like HardOCP, Ars, and other tech sites each pitched in $10, we could really come with with a tidy sum to bring this madman to justice. $5M plus other donations.

I am very sure firms will come also start their own reward pool in the next few days.

Ha! How many of you guys would actually pitch in for this? You know someone will just make similar accounts to scam people out of their hard earned money in this time of need.

Besides, I doubt it would raise more than $50,000, which is nothing tacked onto the $5 million already offered.

I don't think a reward for bringing him to justice is illegal, I'm not asking for his head, just his live body turned over to NATO, the UN, or the US:|

As for the Red Cross, I already donated, & my 72 year old mom is an active volunteer, and I'm an RN I give of myself every day in the E.R.

Don't people in the FBI watch movies? The "Ransom" twist is what's needed to get Osama off the streets/roads/paths.
The $5 mill. reward should be bumped up by $1 mill. each week, until one of his homie's gives him up. I'm sure that would be far more efficient than lobbing $1 million dollar Patriots at this camp then that camp.

I doubt that anyone will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Osama bin Laden was responsible, most people sentenced to death at least here in TX are convicted on circumstancial evidence.
