OS X video problem

I just got a copy of X to play around with the Aqua interface and the BSD commandline. Any way it's intresting but I'm haveing a problem with the video. When I adjust the size of the screen to make it fill the entire monitor but when the screen saver comes on or after a reboot it's back to it's small size. It's getting on my nerves and I can't make the size stay.

Any help?

Cant really help you, but I find OS X.1 to be the one OS that I like the windows to be smaller than full screen. Are you running X or X.1?

Running X.1 I just installed 9.2 and it's so much faster... I guess X was never really ment to run on a 233 Imac with 256mb of ram.
