Hello everyone,
I've also posted this at the official Apple forums, but this place is much busier so hopefully someone can help us out quicker here!
We recently bought a MacMini 1TB Server (OS X Server 10.6.7). I see that the Internet Sharing option has been removed from System Preferences, and have gone into the NAT section within Server Admin to utilize the Gateway Setup Assistant. We are going to use this server to doll out the Internet to a few other machines while we are at a tradeshow (NAB). Anyway, using the 4G card as the Internet source and either Wifi or ethernet as the LAN to be shared, the Internet does not work from client machines. They can receive an IP address, and DNS appears to be working as when I attempt to ping a site such as google.com or purple.com a remote IP address is looked up, but it then fails. Is there something special I have to do when sharing a USB Internet card? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
