Anyone have success adding an OS X client to a Windows 2000 domain? I have looked around on the web and followed some walk throughs, but haven't had any luck. Thanks.

Lucky for me I have an OS X machine right beside me here. :)

Apple Icon > System Preferences > Network & Internet: Sharing > Checkmark: Windows File Sharing

Finally, since you have Win 2k Server you should have SFM (Services-for-Mac) installed on it. To enable the OS X client to work with the server more easily download the Microsoft Patch here.

Thank you for the responses. I already have the windows file sharing checkbox checked. What I want to do is use the active directory users to log into the OS X client. I know of two ways to accomplish this, but have been unsuccessful as of yet. One way is to configure LDAP plugin, which I almost accomplished, but I don't know what a POSIX path would be. The other way is to configure the Active Directory plugin (I think this is only in Panther, which I have). I don't have a tree and therefore can't log into it the way it is set up to. If I knew how to set up the homedirectory and the posixpath to the nsfhomedirectory I think I could do it. Anyone done this?
