My setup has been having some problems for quite sometime now. I don't know if it's hardware stability, hardware compatibility or just plain Windows XP Pro problem. Here's the scenario:
I start the computer, after XP loads, it takes about 1 minute for all the program to load (e.g. F-Secure, AIM, etc..). Launch Everquest or War Craft III and after about an hour or two of playing, I'm ready to quit out. I quit out of the game, and it takes a good minute to complety get back into desktop. After all the game playing, if I try to launch some other program (e.g. AIM) it takes a long time. This problem is like running a new program in a old computer. In other words, the program runs like I don't have enough memory in my system. When I am ready to shut down, it takes me another 2 good minutes for my computer to completely shut down.
I am thiking that either my mobo is really not stable or it's just a XP problem. I went thru 2 mem stick and this still keeps happening, so I have ruled out the possibility that the RAM is causing this. It either that, or my hardware is not compatible with each other. Does anybody know of any issues with any parts that I have? Any advice would help.
