I just reinstalled windows MCE on my file server. Went through the install and rebooted, and got the whole(well I forgot the whole message and am away from the computer right now)missing system files, insert system/boot disk and press any key. I wasn't sure what was up, so I checked the BIOS to be sure the OS drive was the first boot hard drive, it was, but I decided to change it to another drive in the system and low and behold it boots.
I went into my computer and the only file on the drive it booted from was something like DTMFIB or something like that.
I can provide more specific info later tonight when I get back home, but just wanted to get the ball rolling, since I am sure the forums won't be too busy tonight, so i want to get this up as soon as possible. Thanks.
