I have an annoying problem. I just reformatted my drive because it was unbelievably slow and it was much needed. So I delete the partition(it was NTFS) and made it back to FAT32 since I only have the upgrade CD(win2k). It sometimes freezes during installation and other times it doesn't. For example, I tried installing Win98 the first time and it hung, I rebooted and tried again and it worked. I then tried to install Win2k and it keeps hanging on me. The mouse doesn't move at all and I have to reboot. Can someone give me some suggestions on what to do here?

do you have a modem on your system or a network card... some of these devices will cause havoc with your OS on installation... I didn't think win2K was affected... just take the card out..install your os, then put the card back...
