OS and Norton Systemworks

Hey all,
This is actually two questions.
1. I installed Norton Sysworks on my 98se system. After Systemworks loaded I ran all the diagnostics and checkers. All was fine other than Sysworks found quite a few "registery" problems. So I let it fix it, and then 98 would not ever boot again. Format and reloaded it all (Takes forever!) Has anyone else had this problem, and what did I do wrong. I hate not to use Sysworks, it seems to be a great program.

2. I am thinking about putting Windows ME back on tonight. I had it on once, and used sysworks on it. It ran fine, but I found that I could not ever use the system restore. ( I am a tweaker, and the system restore is a great idea!). Was this because of systemworks? I used the disk optimizer on sysworks - is that why the system restore stopped working? Just curious. I like sysworks, but I really like system restore as well. What a dilemma!

What do you all think?

Thanks!

How did you use the same version for Win98 and ME... They need 2 different versions.. maybe that caused it.

From what I understand. Norton Systemworks 2001 is suppose to be compatable with both.
