Please post some more information such as what type of hardware you are using, what OS you are running, if you ever had OS2 installed, and etc.

Very confusing thread. How do you disable OS/2 in the BIOS anyway?

Can you boot with a floppy drive and open the boot.ini file from the C drive? If you can get to this, can you post it's contents?
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
I'm confused. Is OS/2 installed or not?
No never was.
Can you take a picture of the screen?
I have one but don't know how to post it.

I believe pics are posted via a http or ftp address. A pic will really help all of us figure out what happened. I'm not getting this OS/2 Warp stuff at all and how you "turned it off" in the bios.

OS/2 is an old OS (still used albeit rarely).

I think the OS2 setting he is refering to in the BIOS is the one that is in a lot of BIOS wher you can select NON OS2 or OS2 with greater than 64 MB of RAM. This should not prevent the system from booting with either setting. I just tried it on my wifes computer, boots fine either way.

That is exactly what I have.

If you are referring to me, I am telling it to the best of my knowledge.
