Did they ever explain what the point of the story was? I gave up after they introduced the male clones (which to me came across more of a men vs woman traits than a story point) and they had still yet to explain what the original point of the clones was. Let alone why they wanted to breed them.

I also got really sick of the everyone's connected somehow. Even characters that shouldn't have been connected at all suddenly turned out to be working for one of the groups that wanted the clones.. though they didn't say why.

If someone could point to a episode that they talked about it, I'd appreciate it. I've heard a lot of fan theories, but really don't remember anything in the show itself that explained it.

Some of that stuff is explained in season 4 (and season 3). But I think in retrospect they wanted to just forget about it because it really got tedious in season 3, and season 4 seemed almost like a (partial) reboot. :p

In fact, after season 3, I was not inclined to watch season 4. I waited until the entire season was over and then finally gave in and streamed it. And I'm glad I did because season 4 was great.

^She deserves it for playing so many characters convincingly. Surprised she won though.

I agree and I never thought she had a chance since the show isn't very widely known. I'm impressed with the academy on that one.

So I'm just about done season 5. What is anyone's motivation anymore? The Castor cigarette smoking woman just killed Ira, why? Because the show needed him gone because there was nothing left for him to do?

And now Helena just cut her wrists while 9 months pregnant because the gross smoking woman reminded her that she accidentally killed one of her sisters once? She's unfit to be a mother so her solution is to try to murder her twins?

Huh?
