EDIT: the mods need only look to their Name Calling thread in OT to see that Ornery has gone too far.

Yes, the phrase is sometimes a slur against gays, but I heard it also used to refer to some one as a wimp. And I think that's what Ornery's doing (liberals = limp wristed wimps).

Yes, he's also being an ass, but that can happen when P&N is brought into an OT thread.

 
it has turned into a hot political debate. he is calling ppl who see things differently than he does limp wristed. no biggie ... worse has been said.
