Ormond Beach, FL -- nice restaurants ?? Going tonight.

Anyone live in Ormond Beach and knows a couple nice restaurants??

My parents 30th anniversary was this week. They are in Melbourne and I'm in Jacksonville. So we thought we'd meet halfway, and Ormond is nicer than Daytona.

Not looking for a chain, just something local and nice, money is not an issue but $100 for hamburgers won't fly.

If you go up to Flagler Beach Pier there's a very nice home-style Italian place. I think it's across the street.
 
We don't have a generally great opinion of DB for a variety of reasons, but if there is a nice place in DB that you can suggest, I will definitely appreciate it as well.

Thanks for the pointer on FB. I think Ormond is probably as far as they will travel, considering they are driving up simply for dinner, but I will keep it in mind.
 
Argh I guess no one else has any tips?? Oh well. I'm sure we will find something decent in OB.
 
I love that pier restuarant in Flagler. I never really go south of there on the east coast unless I'm going to the Miami metro area. Know what you mean about Daytona, tough, that town is nasty.
 
Hmm 2 people have responded to my request and both suggest this pier rest in Flagler. I guess I will have to suggest it to them and see if they don't mind driving another few miles, probably won't care at that point.

Well we went to Stonewood in Ormond Beach on A1A and it was great -- just what we were looking for. 🙂
