I've hit 175kmh solo in my '89 carbied 323, on a crazy, ruler straight country back road, about 600km from Perth...given she's cruising at 110kmh in 5th, the scream at 175kmh was quite enveloping 😉

Unlike a few other vehicles I've been in up there, she sat dead and flat on the road, no float whatsoever...

My metric to imperial sucks, and I've been a passenger at an easy 130mph plus in a few Mercs and Volvos back in the day, but it was rather more real chasing the max out of my little mazda 😉

IMPORTANT EDIT: going really fast exposing anyone other than yourself (driver, pedestrian, or otherwise) to said speed is entirely uncool.

 
It was around 145mph when the car shifted into OD and I let off around 150mph. It was around 1am on a dead section of interstate on my way home from a track event. The car was fine, but WOT in OD = no good so I let off.
 
Porsche 911 twin turbo..it was yellow...I was just the passenger, guy got it up to about 160mph

pewped my pants...I think i was 14 or so at the time. Was a neighbor of mine that lived in bear path if anyone knows where that is..basically expensive millionaires here.
 
125mph on one of my 500cc bikes, just to see if it could.
Interestingly enough, I never got the urge to do more than 100 on my GSX600...it felt like a tourer so I didn't want to try anything.
 
95 in my last car. The speedometer went higher, but the car wouldn't go any faster. I've hit 100 in my Passat, but haven't had a chance to push it any farther yet. Maybe next summer after I'm a little more comfortable with it.
 
170 MPH on some decent backroads in Central PA, in a Porsche Carrera 4s, the road is RT 233 (Pine Grove Road) that goes through Michaux state forest, its a wounderfull drive in the fall

card didnt have TC, was put in the next year, was a fing blast, the dude whos car it was was with me, we used to drive it alot when we were bored, went to college with him, was white with red leather inside, his uncle gave him the car cause he didnt like it 😕

ive been a passenger in a GT3 that is speced for the track that has toped out before, think its around 190, prob the fastet car ive ever been in, ive driven it but only up to 120 or so
 
145 mph in the 951, still pulling hard when I ran out of track (short straight). Felt like 60mph, the car was perfectly stable.

115 in my '83 Monte Carlo SS. Felt wonderful, quite the rush, I've also been a passenger going 105 in a VW GTI, but I distinctly cared for the feel in my large car at that speed than a smaller car.
 
105mph in a '77 Malibu (that's as fast as the car could go). Nothing special but the speed limit was I believe 35 or 40mph on that road. I hit a dip at 105 (I knew the dip was there, I just wanted to see how fast I could hit it. It was more like a ramp than a dip though) and it launched me in the air I swear 8-10'. I was in the air a good while too, and I'm sure I could have cleared quite a few cars. I just wish I had it on tape. But that was about 18yrs ago and I was young and stupid. I can remember that day like it was yesterday though. That day SHOULD have been the day I died, but luckily for all you, I'm still here. 🙂
 
Ahahahah I completely forgot the time, when I first started driving, I was out in my parent's Camry and I hit some raised train tracks doing ~90... the car bounced twice after it landed. It was insane.
 
90 on an empty street in the middle of the night, and 110 on the freeway with my mom's loaner C-class from the dealer. I stopped at 110 because of paranoia, but the 2.5L V-6 could have pushed out at least 20 more mph. 😛

I've been a passenger in an 03 Cavalier doing 98, it wasn't fun listening to the car shake and imagining what would happen if a wheel fell off or something equally catastrophic.
 
135mph on the Autobahns and also 135mph on The Ring 😀, friends A3 2.0 sport. Now he has an S3 that hits 155mph and we're hopefully taking to Prague over the New Year and we'll stop off at The Ring on the way there an back.
