Hi guys,
I'm having trouble with my Orinoco client manager. I followed the instructions and installed the files from the following page:
http://www.i-hacked.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=56
When I try to run the Orinoco client manager, I get the following error:
Error opening the control panel applet: WNLUC48.CPL-8002
I have WEP on. Originally, I didn't uninstall the Dell client manager, so I was able to use the Orinoco client manager. Maybe the Orinoco one "inherited" the WEP info. Then I uninstalled both client managers, and reinstalled Orinoco. Now, since I get that error, I can't configure anything, so I can't use WEP - I'm locked out of my own network. Any suggestions?
I saw a reference to this page:

I don't completely understand the thread. Should I flash using that, and use that CM, and those drivers? From the first page, I gathered you need some kinda special firmware updater version + special .dll to make it all work. Oh, I also tried the client manager fromt he agere page. I get the same error.
My specs:
Thinkpad 600E (not sure about details - work laptop)
Win2K
thanks!
