I was given the old original Xbox (Not the 360) with a bunch of game and more importantly Four controllers. I know the controller is just a USB Device with a proprietary connector, I already had the adapter from when I owned an Xbox Original. So does anyone know of drivers that I can get to work with Windows 7 x64 (Preferably Signed)
PS I know I can buy a wired 360 controller but I have four perfectly working controllers and I am cheap (AKA Poor)
PPS I know there was drivers for XP but not 7

You should check to see if the XPadder community has any advice for you.

If it turns out that there's nothing out there, you can get wired 360 controllers cheaper from third-party manufacturers and/or online retailers. There are also the dirt-cheap quasi-legal chinese ones, if you're willing to go that route.

Have you tried attaching one of the controllers to your computer? I plugged in a really old Microsoft SideWinder controller and a similarly old SideWinder gamestick. Win 7 x64 recoginized and installed both. The capabilities of both were lacking so I bought a regular Xbox controller from Newegg for about $25. Win 7 installed it and Windows Update even had a newer driver for it.

If you decide to buy a 360 controller, the regular controller works fine. The "for Windows" version that is $5 more is functionally the same. The difference for the $5 is you receive a disk with the drivers on it -- probably older than the ones you can download from Microsoft for free.

Yeah I have tried plugging it into the computer and I get a driver not found message from Windows 7 (Unknown Device)
I will take a look at the Xpadder thing that Blue Shift mentioned

I was not suggesting that you use XPadder; it requires that you already have drivers for your controller. You should post a thread on the forums there, asking for advice.
