Original XBOX & 360 audio question.

Will both Xboxes send DD 5.1 /DTS and stereo through the toslink connector for all the games. I could eliminate the analag audio cables from the hookups if this is true ?

Yes, I used Toslink for years on my original Xbox, and now I use it on the 360 as well.
