Hi all.... I was wondering what overclocking results that you have all gotten from your Original T-Bird 1 GHz with the stepping of AHJA. My friend just upgraded from an AZ11 to a Gigabyte GA-7DXR and he is getting a negligible overclock.... not even 50 mhz... and on top of that, with his OCZ Gladiac copper cooler and a Ystech fan, he is idleing at 53 celcius.....

Just wondering what all your results have been......

thanks

Hmm, I don't know the stepping of my TBird, but I do know that it's one of the original ones. Bought mine in January of this year. They'd only been on the market a short time, so I got one of the first ones off the line. Paid $250 for that sucker too...now it's 1/2 that. That's the nature of the beast, though.

Mine overclocks, but nothing to brag about. I have an Abit KT7R and a FOP 32-1HSF. Using good memory (Micron and Infineon). Right now, I'm at 1104 MHz (10.5 x 105) A nice little boost. I see and feel a difference in normal, everyday use as well as in benchies.

I can't get stable at an 11x multiplier w/o maxing out the voltage to 1.85 and at that voltage, my temps are off the scale. I've ran at 108FSB but the Infineon doesn't like it. But everything is rock stable at 105, so I'm happy.
