Thinking about downloading the original Gauntlet game on XBOX 360. I remember it well. I also remember I never beat it. Did the original Gauntlet ever end or were maps randomly generated after a certain point?

At what level does it end? How many hours of gameplay? I seem to remember getting up to level 100 as a kid on my nintendo and giving up soon afterwards.

I find counting is easy, but I find counting to infinity quite difficult.

The game was easy; I never beat it on Nintendo because after a few days of playing someone would eventually kick the nintendo or the power would go off. I never saw the end because I assumed that the levels became random after a certain level.
