Original Bmw rims and tires?

I'm going to be looking for some 2005 525i original tires and rims. I don't need a second car but my father is teaching my younger brother a lesson for being disrespectful and a brat by selling his car for $300. Rather than having it sold to anyone else I said I'll buy it and use it when I go out.

The funny thing is my father did the same thing to me when he found out I was racing back when I was his age. Car was all suped up and after he repaired the damage I caused he sold it to a guy walking down the street alongside the his mechanic's shop for $200. That was a horrible feeling but I laugh about it now because I was being stupid.

It's got a lot of miles on it but it runs well. Only thing that stops me from driving it is the 20 inch or 21 inch rims he has on there now with stupid low profile tires. He purchased it that way.

I've tried looking on eBay and other online stores but haven't found anything good. What are some decent places I should be checking out?

I hope your brother didn't pay for the car himself. Even if he didn't, if he's put a lot of money into it, I see this as borderline theft.

Call around to your local parts yards and post a want to buy add on craigslist. I got a set of wheels off an escalade for a couple hundred bucks for my winter tires.

Nah my father bought him the car a year ago. That's why he can do this. Brother didn't put any money into it. He barely kept it up to spec with maintenance until I got on his case about it. Hopefully he will learn his lesson this way. If he listens and changes his bad attitude I'll give the car back to him. He really doesn't need it since he's going to be living in the city on campus next semester.

Yeah a want to buy post might be your best bet for something like this, along with just watching ebay for a while. Post one on bimmerfest, e46fanatics, etc.

BMW makes a lot of nice wheels. If you're not picky on grabbing the exact originals, you could pick a different set that you think would look good and matches the sizing:

Basically anything would be better than what is on there now. Thanks I've started looking at the usual bmw forums.
