Weird, because I remember it looking pretty good at the time. But that does look hideous.

Some games just seem to hold up better than others. Ultima 7 still looks ok after 22 years

Syndicate aged fine. It looks fine. The game had some awesome gameplay mechanics, that no one ever copied for who knows what reason. Great team based RTS.
