Origin: bonus packs question

I just ordered (as pc download) NFS Rivals from Gamestop (my 5-year olds are super excited) and the order page today still said I'd receive a bonus pack for "pre-ordering" which I really didn't pre-order since it's been released already today. But my question is how do bonus packs generally get distributed?

I'm acquiring the game via Origin installer now but no mention of the bonus pack (GTR cop car & some special paint job) and I want to know for sure whether I'll be getting it or not.

I pre-ordered BF4 and I think I was supposed to get China Rising and the Origin app says it's not yet released. Is everyone going to get that expack anyway or just those of us who pre-ordered and everyone else will have to pay for it? In other words, was it just a ploy to get us to pre-order but we'll get them anyway?

Gamestop tech support is of absolutely no help with regard to the bonus pack. Gamestop also has their own App (which pointed to Origin) - would bonus packs ever be distributed this way because I went through GS?

At least with regards to BF4 anything you would have received as a bonus would simply be enabled in game automatically. What you received was determined by the order code you put into Origin, there won't be an additional code or anything - and when China Rising is released Origin will download it automatically as well and you'll just be able to join servers playing those maps straight away.

I would guess NFS works the same way but I don't know that for certain. I would guess any of the bonus stuff you receive will simply be enabled in game by default.
