Organizing Music

Hey guys, I just got my music collection into one big heaping mess of 10 gigs of music files into one folder. I wanted to know if there was a program that could read the id3 tags of the pusic and put them into subfolders according to artist name. If so, please let me know, thanks!

iTunes would do it if you let it "organize my music for me" or whatever the option is called. It will go artist->album->song by default. Plus smart playlists (they update as new music meeting certain conditions is added) are cool.

What if the tags and filenames are shoddy, is there a program that will do an auto cddb lookup and tag and name them for me or at least try to.

Tag & rename - its good but NOT FREE
ID3-Tag It - free and just as good as tag and rename
K-MP3 - best for doing a whole album at once, doesnt let you do then 1 at a time

i use K-MP3 and ID3 Tag it
