I do the Excel spreadsheet thing too and it isn't perfect. I just can't seem to get off my arse and find a better method, especially since I have over 1400 Divx titles and starting over with data entry woud be a full time job.

1400??? how long did it take you to download all that????

I Just use MS word to organize my list. It is over 300 but I stopped adding more to the list a year ago due to me not caring anymore.

start an outline style numbering system in word and type the number then the name... then when you need to add one you just go to where the next one goes... hit enter and it changes all the further numbers to one higher and puts a spot in where you need to add one :p

CueCat barcode scanner + catnip + DVDProfiler.com = :D

I have a spare CueCat barcode scanner I'll send to anyone for $10 shipped. Also scans CD's, basically anything with a UPC barcode it can scan and identify it.

yay, lets brag about piracy.

but as for space. i have over 100 real dvds. at ~6.5gb per disc average guess, and half my dvds have 2 discs or more. thats probably near a terabyte.

but seriously. 1400? i bet 99% are the sh*ttiest movies ever, not worth your time, let alone your bandwidth or your cdr's which aren't really free.
