Organizations tips

Do you have any organization tips? I tend to get things so cluttered because I don't have a place for everything. I want shelves all over my room, or like box shelves, that all have a label and a device and its shit that goes there.

It seems I have way too much shit for this small room.

Read Getting Things Done, cut down on stuff, focus on what's needed and arrange appropriately.

Put everything in boxes, don't bother organizing, just box it up. Then get stuff out as you use it. If it doesn't come out of the box in say six months, get rid of it.

I listened to it. I think his whole idea is like... you have a "to be processed" box and another box I forgot... Idk what it was.

I forgot about the book/seminar whatever I listened to. It was a while ago...

+ never put something in something else's place - even temporarily.

I've found this really works when strictly followed but I always seem to fall off the wagon.

No... It just happens to be that when I actually get out all my shit it takes up everything. I threw away a lot of stuff today already. I am organized for the most part right now. I am erasing rewritable DVDs and going to put some operating systems on them in preparation for my hard drive organizing... (Which will be far off from now I think)
