Yes, it is indeed better than regular milk, but not all organic milks are equal. So far, the organic milk from the Amish farms tastes the creamiest. It's awesome for cappuccinos :)

I've tried it, and maybe I wouldn't know it in a blind taste test... but... I'm convinced it tastes better. Not enough to justify the price. The bigger issue is the growth hormones used in many (but not all) dairys. Some folks believe they get passed through the cow and contribute to growth problems in children and potentially other issues. The certified organic milks are generally (in theory) not using those types of chemicals and therefore better for you. I can't say I'm convinced either way. I prefer organic, but, I also eat fast food and other not-the-best-for-you type of things so it's not really an issue to me. I maybe buy 5% of our food items organic and usually because it's not much more expensive but a lot better quality product in at least taste.

See for yourself though, buy some fresh organic stuff and compare it to fresh store-bought other stuff (things you normally buy) and I'll bet you find they are better, and I've yet to find one that's worse. Given that, and the fact that organics may be better for your health, you really only have to use price to decide if it's worth it. There's a bunch of folks on here who think organic is hocus pocus or fraud and no different. I'd say in some cases they are correct, YMMV.

If I ever had a child, I wouldn't give them normal milk regularly. I, for one, believe the information on bovine growth hormone. I think that it is a big factor in the decreasing age of puberty in children. My sister teaches 4th grade and has a 9 year old girl having periods.

Don't know about organic, but up here in Bucks Co., Pa. I buy raw milk squirted that same day from cows you can smell from the store.

Raw milk is unprocessed (not pasturized, not homogenized). To be able to sell it that way, the cows have to pass uber tests for health. It's the best you can get, and tastes WAY better, and, from the local Mennonite farms from which I get it, EVEN CHEAPER!

Used to get raw milk from the Alta-Dena (sic) dairy out in SoCal back in the day. The authorities back then (the mid '70's) kept trying to shut them down.

Meh. If it's not only the finest of Cambodian breastmilks, I'm not interested.

you know what happens when people consume hormone right? digestion is a very destructive thing, which is why many meds.. like hormones have to be injected.
