Well no, they chose to be in the armed forces to defend their country. It had nothing to do with the economy. I am not fan of Bush at all but you are putting things waaaay out of perspective here.

bush is "just" our president. he did the right thing by charging into iraq. Another 5-10 years and there will be a better nation in Iraq. If congress didn't want us going to Iraq as well, they would have stopped it. I have to hope that congress was able to make a competent decision.

If Kerry won so many awards for battle, maybe he should go to Iraq instead of trying to be President. I personally don't think he is competent for the job.

Alot of the population in Iraq is insane as F@Ck. It was innevitable that it would come to war and that nation would have to be put in check some how. I think the essence of humanity is the cause of war, not oil. If Sudan doesn't want to help out with the genecide in their nation, maybe we should reorganize that country as well.

I wish people weren't scared to admit that in this world it can and will take force to keep things right sometimes.

I think that what happened to Iraq will serve as a modern day example (post technology revolution) of what will happen with chaos consumes a country. The international community will stop it. end of story. we aren't necessarily pawns, i think what he is saying is that for most people, ignorance is bliss. But if you can't handle the truth, recognize it rather than diving in to the real world, not being able to handle it, then barfing your bad experience on everyone else.
