as for "the call"...yes oregon touched the ball but it made for an exciting end to a great game...i wish more refs would make calls that gave teams chances that played a great game. It would've sucked ass if the game ended on that note. Thats the stuff movies are made of

No kidding. The replay showed conclusively on both plays (the onside kick and the pass interference) the exact oppositve of what the ref said it did. I felt like I just watched a major boxing match that went to the judges. I'm not a fan of either team, but that was pathetic.

Wow. I was like holy ****** when Oregon scored the 2nd TD in like 22 seconds. Then I was like holy ****** when Oklahoma returned it to the 30. Then I was like holy ****** when the field goal was blocked.

So you screw a team out of a win just so it can be entertaining? Wow that's incredibly stupid.

After reviewing all the shots of that kickoff, it was pretty conclusive to me that the Oregon player touched it at about the 8-9 yard mark. It was close, but I thought the video angles showed it pretty clearly.

obviously the refs couldn't make a "conclusive" call at the end of that horrid game. Everything was inconclusive, even the announcers said it was terrible calling. Wow...way to go PAC 10....not, how much did Oregon pay those refs?

But you have to admit the ball was tipped on that pass interference call.

Granted, the best view of the play wasn't straight on, but even so it looked a good yard or two short of the 10 yard mark to me.

Even so, on both replays the ref said it was conclusive, which was a load of crap.

I thought it was short of the 10 yard mark as well. But then after the replays I noticed the angles weren't very good (they were all from the side) and it looks like he touched it right at the 10-yard mark. Regardless, I call that a make up call for letting Oklahoma snap the ball after the clock hit 0 twice.

Too much fvckin replay. They need to adopt a more NFL style of replay where only certain things can be replayed and not every judgement call. Every play seemed reviewed and they still blew the calls.

Didn't the referee say that the receiving team (Oklahoma) player touched before 10 yards? Actually, I'm almost certain that he did.

Maybe there is a crazy rule about the player on the receiving team touching the ball before the 10 yards that would somehow make everything legal. Or maybe the referee got it all mixed up. I don't know.

I was also wondering about this. I believe he did say the receiving team touched the ball first, which would make this even more questionable.

i was just agreeing with many posters above...saying go PAC-10...looks to me like some money exchanged hands before the game...or during the game, and apparently OU's pockets aren't deep enough.
