Oregon runner wins race - or not

Why oh why is it so difficult for these guys (or gals) to wait until the race is actually over, the touchdown is actually scored, the game is actually over etc before they start celebrating??

That's hilarious, but I do feel a little sorry for the fool who lost the race by celebrating early.

The only one who could do that safely is usain bolt... he's let up so many times near the finish line and won.

I remember seeing a video of a bike race where the leader raised his arms about 100' before the finish and promptly fell off his bike as the 2nd place guy zoomed past him to win.

I am also baffled by people who can't wait a few seconds to actually win before celebrating. I would be mortified to lose like that.

I don't feel sorry for them at all.

Reminds me of this jackass

Not one bit of pity from me -- not one bit!

This is way more of a problem in Football and even when the ending isn't as bad the fact that some overpaid athlete feels a need to slow down and showboat before crossing the goal line just pisses me off. How hard is it to press on for a few more seconds.

No fucks given!

He's not (really) a paid athlete. He's a Frenchie with a distance running scholarship from Oregon, a school that is legendary for distance runners. 😀
