If that's the same place I'm thinking of, worst idea ever. Are they the guys who have mediums for $5?

Yep - 3 pizzas from my friend's place (little family-owned place here in St. Louis; I doubt anybody on the board would know it.) for my family.

Anyway, we're having a huge (read: three extra people) party, with mozarella sticks and hot wings.

No way. I'm sure today's the best day of the year for delivery drivers. If I was at home, I'd definitely be at Papa John's driving today.

To answer the original question, though, no, I'm not. I actually ordered pizza last night for a few friends and myself.

They probably get a ton of tips from the people who are rooting for the winning team. :)

All I can say is if you are one of the cheap AZZ's that orders and does not tip or only gives a buck and some change, you might want to pick your pizza up.

I ALWAYS hauled the low tippers pizza's LAST. There are a lot of good tips to be made, so I and the other drivers ALL did this when I use to haul pizzas years ago. Why try and get your pizza there fast, when we KNOW you are a poor tipper.

And for the good tippers, be careful a lot of people burn there mouth on hot pizza ;)

Around here anytime there is a big sporting event on TV, the wait times for pizza delivery are super long (hour and a half or more). And im talking about all the places, pizza hut, dominoes, papa johns. Seems like everyone else has the same idea about ordering on game days.

I'm sure they'll get a ton of tips from everybody in general. People that tip, anyway. When most people are going to be ordering pizza, it's going to be the first half or halftime, I would say. By the time the game becomes a blowout or a winner has been established, I don't know how many people will still be ordering (unless it's people on the West Coast and all).

Scrap the pizza idea. I just made ~100 minature pigs in a blanket, 50 hot wings, bbq sausage, and the keg is ready to go. Now this game needs to start.
