1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.

gaming, surfing, watching some movies, work related stuff

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread

1200$ max

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

USA

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.

none

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

keyboard/mouse

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.

Yes

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

Would like to OC my E8400 to 4 Ghz.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?

Have to order today. Will build in the coming weekend.

The Build:

Combo: 150 (after 30$ MIR) http://www.newegg.com/Product/...d=0&PageSize=10&page=1
- Motherboard: Biostar TForce P43 ATX -
- PSU: Corsair 750TX 750W ATX 12V/EPS12V
HSF: Xigmatek S1283 w/ bracket - $35 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835233003
Memory: G. Skill DDR2-1000 - $85 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820231145
HDD: WD 640gb - $85 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16822136218
CPU: E8400 - 159 (already bought)
GPU: ATI 4850 - 145 (after 30$ MIR, already bought)
DVD: Samsung SATA DVD-R - $25 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16827151171
Case: NZXT Alpha Black ATX Mid Tower Case - 55 (after 15$ MIR) http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811146041
Miscellenious:
- Arctic Silver 5 Thermal compound - 6
- 120 mm Case Fan - ?

Couple of questions I have:
1. Any recommendation for decent and cheap 120mm Case fan? The case I am buying has some good reviews (for the price). It as a rear 120mm fan and a side 120mm fan. As I am planning to OC my CPU to 4 Ghz and will have 4850 in the system (which I heard runs hot), I am thinking of adding another fan to the case for better cooling. Just don't know which one..

2. This is my first ever build. Any glarring mistakes? Any compatibility issues? I have already done a huge mistake by accidentaly buying miniATX case for my build and now have to resell it. So just want to make sure that I am not doing any other major mistake.:)

Newegg reviews only tell you whether or not it worked the first time when they plugged it in, not about compatibility or stability. I'd take them with a pinch of salt.

I would have avoided that motherboard, and even though it's a decent inclusion in the bundle, the PSU is overkill. Personally I'd have went for something like the Corsair 550VX or 520HX with the Gigabyte P45 DS3L motherboard instead.

IMO this is a nicer and slightly better case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811129042
