So here's the deal:
I'm seeing a crazy price of $165 for the Vibrant on one of my lines on my family plan. Note that this line shows other phones, like the mytouch, at $230. this is some sort of crazy discount, no idea why.
i have 4 lines. 3 of them have a data plan. this discount is showing on the 4th line.
on tmobile.com, when I add the phone to my car and check out, i get the message:
has anyone ever ordered a smartphone from tmobile, and not gone back to add a data service? what happens? do they add it for you?
before people start whining, I know that you need a data service to activate the phone. i'll use one of my other sims to do that.
thanks,
Vivan

The device you purchased requires a data service.
A data service is required in order to access your devices Web functionality and features, including Internet access and e-mail. To add a data service, you may need to return to My.T-Mobile.com after you receive your device.
