Ordering from newegg, UPS or Fedex?

I'm about to order from Newegg. I live in SoCal. I was just gonna order with UPS, but I don't like UPS. Is there any chance I could get my stuff by Saturday (with either UPS or Fedex)? Does Fedex deliver on New Year's? But, Fedex happens to be a couple dollars extra.

I'm only referring to the UPS guaranteed 3-day or the Fedex Express Saver.

I always pick FedEx. Less chance of package abuse in this area and I happen to live one shipping day away from their main hub.

Unless you pay for something more expensive than your listed options, you aren't going to get it by Saturday.

[aside]I wish more people would use DHL, the three packages that have been sent to me through DHL have gotten to me in two, two, and three days [/aside]

I'd say FedEx.

Aflac,

I'd do DHL but it's not an option.

Shouldn't YOyoYOhowsDAjello be the leader of the Crusaders for Good Sound club?

I don't. DHL only comes to my area one day a week, and they come in a hertz rental van.

Aflac should be for the headphones sector. Yoyo for speakers. And neither as they don't deliver on weekends or New Years.

DHL is the worst for my area. I've had stuff left at the wrong address. They never get a signature and often just chuck the box at the door. It's quite rare for me to actually see the DHL guy before getting to the door after I hear the drop of the package. It's like they are trying to flee from the scene of a crime.

UPS/Fedex are great in my area. Consistently 2days on 3day ground from NewEgg. Pretty much the same when I used Fedex before NewEgg switched their prefered carrier to UPS.

I always use UPS when ordering from Newegg. Cheaper and I've never had a single problem. I've never had a single problem with FedEx either though, but it's more expensive now that the default is UPS.

I just ordered something with newegg. I hope I get it before next weekend because that's when i'm going back to school.

Anything but UPS, I refuse to order something from a place if they dont have options from another carrier but them

Kao

I guess I'm the minority but I've never really had any problem with UPS. The one box I've had that was totally smashed up came from FedEx.
