Ordering from Coolerguys.com?

Anyone placed an order through these guys recently? I'm trying to figure out if something's wrong with their site or if it's on my end, and why I get an invoice and everything like the order has gone through but no confirmation email, while Bill tells me that they have gotten nothing if I didn't get a confirm email.

It's really not so hard (usually) to make these things work correctly, is it? I guess all the outdated links at the end of the secure order page aren't really a good sign...

i've ordered from them in the past, and i got the same thing, no confirmaiton email about it being sent, just that they received it. and then about 4 days after i ordered it the fans showed up. if they try and stiff you refuse payment through your credit card.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I would have ordered from 2cooltek (I've ordered from there 3 or 4 times before) but I needed at Slot 1 cooler, and not a lot of people seem to be stocking them anymore.

As for slow shipping, once I figured out that my card had indeed been charged, I sent an email asking for a cancellation, so I would only get 1 order (this all occurred yesterday). I got an email back saying that both orders had already shipped, and my only option is to return them, and I'm guessing that I'm not gonna get my shipping costs back either.:|

Coolerguys isn't at fault, you are. Why should they pay shipping charges for your mistake? Maybe if you called them or wrote them an email you would have known that your order shipped.

SVC seems to be a pretty good place. I've ordered from them already and it got here pretty quick. I ordered a little after a sale ended, but they still gave me the sale price. 😀

I ordered from CoolerGuys last year . Bought my GlobalWin WBK-38 from them & shipping was slow as Mole-asses ! About a week & a half .

Have been considering ordering from them again but will look into ResellerRatings.com beforehand to see if they've changed thier tune .

I did write them an email. I have included the text here for your perusal:

I suspect that they couldn't be bothered to look up anything, and just made an assumption. Still my fault?
